ok i found a fix for fast downloads regarding maps. Usually, when a client downloads a map from the game server, its bogged down a bit due to the fact that the server is run at that location. to fix this issue, i have found a way around downloading maps from the game server. I myself did not come up with it obviously, i just found it and googled it.
all we have to do is
copy cstrike>maps folder from gameserver(all .bsp files)
put the maps folder is a folder named cstrike in ur ftp website

www.yourdomain.com/cstrikeyou can then add folders in cstrike on ur domain such as maps, materials, sounds, and so on.
Lastly, you need to go to your server.cfg inside your server FTP or control panel (whichever you prefer) and enter the following commands somewhere in the file:
sv_downloadurl "http://www.YourWebHostURL.com/cstrike"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1
You must include your website URL then /cstrike at the end of it. Also make sure that the .bsp map that you put into your website FTP is also in your server's maps folder. Save it and restart your server.
