Mod for the server

suggestion on getting a mod for the server where the next map is always decided by vote that way people wont leave if it changes to a bad map in the rotation cause they voted for the map.

good idea OR make the map cal/cevo/eco rotation maps

Good idea kyrx, only issue is. no matter what. no one is ever happy. it can be a unanimous vote and there will still be people that bitch..

all you need is the majority to stay(the ones that voted for the map)

umm server will fill up more with cevo/eco rotation maps....its a simple fact sorry lol

Rly? Cause last few times it seems most ppl have been joining on custom maps, can't seem to fill a server w/ dust2 any more.

d2 is only one map in an eco/cevo rotational server lol i know a 24/7 cpl mill server that constantly has 16/16 people in it

that means nothing other than it has a devout group of ppl who play.. i dont know how many times lately ive logged in and 3 of our members are in 1 server and 2 are in another, while our server is empty.. if those 5 ppl joined ours it would be full too.

either way, mod has been put in so we'll see how it goes.

ok maybe we can clean out the server again and just put standard maps and see how it go's and see if it fills but (iIT WILL TAKE ALL OF US TO KEEP IT BUSY) and if not we will just go through custom map slow and only put the most popular maps on again ill have to get some time to do it.

I am just getting fed up with people complaining about maps for any and all reasons

i think with the auto vote you may as well leave the custom maps on.. although it'd be better if there were a vote option of "none" and if it won the vote it would just put up another random vote
